Q. Who owns The Brisbane Institute?
A. The Brisbane Institute is a completely independent and non-partisan organisation. Funding is received from a cross section of Universities, Government departments, Corporations and individual members. A full list of Sponsors and Corporate & Education Members can be found separately on this site.
Q. Can I go to a Brisbane Institute event if I'm not a member and how much does it cost?
A. Yes, all Brisbane Institute seminars and conferences are open to the general public as well as members. Prices vary according to the event but standard pricing is $25 for general admission. Concession ($15) for unwaged, pensioners and full-time students are available at all events. Participating and Corporate Members receive substantial discounts. Q. Do I have to book a place if I want to attend a seminar?
A. Yes, bookings are absolutely essential for all events. Either email us at rsvp@brisinst.org.au or phone 07 3220 2198
Q. Can I get a copy of the talk if I can't make it to a seminar?
A. Audio cd copies of the seminars are avaialble free of charge to members or can be purchased by the public for $10. If you are not a member & wish to order an audio cd call 07 3220 2198. Join now
