As the baby boomers head into retirement, our next generations are stepping up with their own brave ideas for the futures they want for themselves and their children, and they’re not waiting for permission from anybody else to change their world!

Hear from two inspirational leaders who are already doing things differently, Chris Raine, Founder and CEO of Hello Sunday Morning, and Laura Stokes, responsible for the TedX South Bank Women event taking place December 7.

Chris Raine WEB

Chris Raine is the founder and CEO of Hello Sunday Morning – an international health promotion charity that facilitates the program and supports thousands of people across the world to take a break and assess their own relationship with alcohol.

Hello Sunday Morning started in Brisbane with a community of 5 people doing the program in 2009 – all committing to a three-month break from drinking. Four years later, thanks to the support of governments across Australia and New Zealand, that community now sits at over 13,500 people, with each one of their stories is an essential contribution to a better drinking culture.

The focus of Hello Sunday Morning is to build technology that not only influences individual behaviours but also has the power to shift the greater cultures around us.

Laura Stokes

Laura Stokes has a passion for enabling others to reach their potential through her role as the Licensee of TEDxSouthBankWomen. This is a community of people who seek to inspire women (and a few men) to change their lives, their futures and ultimately their world.

Laura was raised by empowered parents who taught her to be inquisitive whilst roaming the wilds of the world. Her passion is enabling others to find and reach their potential.
